Regular postcard Boletus versipellis, 100 x 150

The mushroom Boletus versipellis, otherwise known as the rotkappe or the red-cap. This mushroom has a red cap and a spotted stalk. The majority of Boletus species are edible and found growing on the ground in association with trees.
